Frequently asked questions
When does the trial start?
With the first activation of the licence key inside the installed software — not at sign-up. So you can download now and start whenever it suits you.
Is the trial limited?
No. Every topology, every tab, every export. After 30 days a licence is needed to keep computing.
Does the computer have to be online?
AGFEM checks the licence at start-up and then once a day. Without a connection the software keeps running for up to 14 days on the last confirmed licence.
On how many computers may I install it?
A named-user licence covers up to two computers belonging to the same person, e.g. a workstation and a laptop. You can release and reassign computers from your account.
How do I cancel?
From your account, through the billing portal, with one click effective at the end of the current month. There is no minimum term.
Are my design data uploaded?
No. Everything is computed locally on your machine. Only the licence check reaches our server — the key, an anonymous device identifier and the application version.
